2. Management of the tender process, including the initial briefing, review and evaluation of submissions and presentations (where required), short-listing of potentials and recommendations for the best superannuation option.
3. Advising on appropriate life insurance and salary continuance arrangements including flexible and cost effective group life and salary continuance cover.
4. The communication of any proposed changes, either by way of presentations, or in written or electronic form, to staff, and answer staff queries.
5. Arrangement of benefit transfers from previous providers where a new provider is chosen.
6. Assistance to employees on all superannuation queries and issues, including recommendation of suitable investment strategies, construction of investment portfolios and appropriate levels of insurance to carry in super.
7. Liaison between client, the employer, and the selected superannuation provider including troubleshooting where required.
8. Ongoing education of members. These include introduction to super, explanation of different investment strategies, insurance in super, wealth creation strategies in super, transition to retirement strategies and other superannuation issues.
9. Attendance and arrangement of Policy Committee meetings and election of committee members if applicable.
